Landline and cell phone protection
Scam call protection for a landline or a cell phone.
Your loved one keeps their own phone and number. With their consent, Scam Shield monitors their calls for scam tactics.
On a cell phone
No app installation required. Setup takes under 5 minutes from your dashboard:
- Calls ring on their phone as usual.
- They save Scam Shield as a contact. When a call seems suspicious, they select Add call, choose Scam Shield, then select Merge.
- Scam Shield joins the call, monitors it, and alerts the family if it sounds like a scam.
On a home landline
Three steps at their home, using a small phone adapter (about $40):
- Connect the adapter to their internet router and sign in.
- Pick up their phone and dial a code to forward their calls to Scam Shield.
- Plug their phone into the adapter. Calls ring as usual.
Simple to turn off
On a cell phone, Scam Shield only joins calls they add. On a landline, plug the phone back into the wall jack and dial *73. Your loved one can also call the Scam Shield number and press 2.
